I’ve coached hundreds of people at this point
The biggest demographic has been guys in their 20s & 30s.
More specifically…former athletes.
The guys who were “the shit” in high school. Captains of the football team…all star point guards…badass wrestlers…
For a variety of reasons, they decided to not continue their sport in college. They spent the following years trying to fill the massive void that sports once occupied. The most common filler being frat parties and weekend benders.
Flash forward 5+ years and they find themselves 50lbs overweight, completely out of shape, but with no passion to train.
They’ve tried going to the gym and following different workout routines but nothing has stuck…
They feed themselves a million different excuses…
“I haven’t found the right routine…”
“I don’t have the time…”
etc etc etc…
But here’s the REAL reason…
They lack pressure.
The pressure felt walking onto the field on a Friday night under the lights
The pressure felt with 5 seconds on the clock and one shot to win the game
The pressure that is only felt…
through competition.
See once I get these clients to commit to a competition everything changes. No more missed workouts, intensity through the roof, and most importantly…having FUN with training again.
Competition gives your training purpose.
You may think that “Training for life” is enough of a motivator. But when push comes to shove, it’s not. You need something in the here & now. You need something to apply the pressure. Because once an athlete, always an athlete.
A date on the calendar is what wakes that sleeping beast inside of you & reignites that fire to be the best you can be.
Pressure... it all boils down to pressure, quit making excuses, get in the arena, and send it!
Absolutely yes. Absolute fire read bro
